Why Metrics exists
Metrics exists to enhance one's passion for basketball, and the discourse that helps everyone understand the game in the best way. It's here to give depth, accurate numbers and perspectives about what happens on the court.
Who did this
Hey, I'm Greg.
A podcaster always needs something concrete to lean on — what's actually happening on the court. I love talking about basketball, and I was looking for a tool that could take me deeper than the usual box score. I eventually ended up coding something with a friend at first. And then, Metrics was alive.
It's for analysts, fans, podcasters, threads creators on Twitter, anyone who wants to push a little further — to bring something solid into debates and convos.

What's open, what's beta
Open to everyone, no account: the BASICS and OVERALL tables on league, team and player pages, across the WNBA, the NBA, NCAAW and NCAAM — plus the whole games section, schedule and results. The charts and comparison tools come with them.
The beta adds the advanced tables — shooting, creation, defense, on/off, lineups — player profiles, box scores and play-by-play.
Beta access is limited and reviewed manually, one by one. Tell us who you are and how you'd use Metrics. If we have a slot, you get a magic link in your inbox.
Metrics is free during beta. You'll get a heads-up before anything changes.
